Service Manager - Blackpool

Are you seeking a new challenge, somewhere where you can share your skills and knowledge as a leader? If so we're seeking a skilled Service Manager to join their supported living service in Blackpool.
- To oversee the leadership and management of a small 8 bedded supported living service for adults with mental health issues and complex needs.
- Provide strong leadership to support teams, including managing supervisions, coaching and mentoring your team to ensure outcomes and objectives are met.
- Plan, manage and co-ordinate daily tasks and complete assessments, support plans and any risk assessments.
- Risk management and oversee medication audits.
- Maintain accurate records, report writing and attending meetings.
- Liaise with all colleagues and professionals.
- Promote a positive culture that values dignity, respect, and safeguarding at all times.
- Work on site which will include 3 days of management duties and 15 hours on rota with flexibility required. Oversight of your rotas and staffing levels.
- Permanent role 37.5 hours per week on site.
About YOU:
- This role will suit a Deputy Manager ready for their next step up into a Service Manager role, or indeed a Service manager seeking a new challenge and opportunity.
- To have demonstrable leadership skills, including the ability to motivate teams and drive performance improvements.
- Experience and knowledge of working in similar settings with adults with mental health issues.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and the importance of maintaining safe, person-centred care.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with staff, families, and external partners.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities, maintain records, and support audits.
- Relevant social care qualifications are not essential as training will be provided however if you hold your Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or your Level 5 in Leadership & Management this will be desirable.
- A positive and professional approach to your role which will include the ability to communicate well, support your teams and work to deliver the best outcomes for the people being supported.
- You will be flexible as there will be on call duties ( 1 in 5 weeks) and extra payment of £10 per day.
- Car driver isn't essential however there will be a requirement to be able to attend manager and other meetings off site every few months.
