Location: Bolton Salary: Up to GBP
45,000 DOE + Benefits Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
This is an excellent opportunity for a facilities professional with experience managing both hard and soft services, ensuring compliance, maintaining excellent tenant relationships, and delivering exceptional service standards across a commercial property portfolio.
The RoleAs Facilities Manager, you will take responsibility for the effective management and delivery of all facilities services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all hard and soft facilities services are delivered in line with agreed specifications and service level agreements.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring performance, cost, and reporting requirements are achieved.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance and drive continuous improvement across service delivery.
- Oversee compliance–related activities, ensuring statutory obligations are met and remedial actions are completed.
- Manage landlord services and tenant relationships, ensuring all service charge obligations are fulfilled.
- Coordinate site inspections, audits, and assessments including Fire Risk Assessments and cleaning audits.
- Produce accurate monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support health and safety initiatives across the portfolio.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and health & safety requirements.
- Assist with the management of contractors and service providers to ensure the highest operational standards are maintained.
- Previous Facilities Management experience covering both hard and soft services.
- Project management experience.
- Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and in–house teams.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities with a customer–focused approach.
- Experience supporting multi–site or regional property operations.
- IOSH qualification.
- NEBOSH qualification.
- Previous experience within commercial property, retail, mixed–use, or multi–tenanted environments.
