Job Title: Food Production Operative

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full‑time hours

Salary: £12.54 per hour

Job Description: As a Production Operative based in Blackpool, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks within the manufacturing and production industry. Your primary role will be to assist in the production process, ensuring that products are made, quality checked and packed according to food safety and quality standards.

• Working within a food manufacturing environment (no cold environments and no meat products)
• Operate machinery and equipment as required
• Inspect finished products for quality control
• Follow health and safety and food safety guidelines at all times
• Working as a team to ensure all products are made correctly and in a timely manner
• Lifiting trays up to 5 kg in weight
• Measuring and adding ingredients to product as required – following processes and recipes

• Previous experience within a food manufacturing or production environment is desirable, however, all training is provided

• Good attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations
• English speaking, reading and writing required for all roles

• Fast‑paced food production environment
• Physical work involving standing for long periods and lifting trays of product
• Potential exposure to loud noises and machinery (all protective equipment is provided)
• No cold environment – ambient factory
• No meat products

• Rotational shifts
• Week 1 – Monday to Thursday 06:00‑14:00, Friday 06:00‑13:00
• Week 2 – Monday to Thursday 14:00‑22:00, Friday 13:00‑20:00
• Total 36.5 hours per week
