Customer Support, Service & Installation Engineer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with strong communication skills to join our team in the role of Customer Support, Service and Installation Engineer.

This position is ideally suited to a multi‑skilled engineer with experience in the manufacturing or panel processing industry, particularly those familiar with the setup and operation of panel sizing machines, edge banding machines, and related equipment.

We also specialise in the supply and support of CNC routers for both panel processing and joinery applications, including CNC machines for fire door production. Experience with CAD/CAM software would be an advantage, but is not essential, as training can be provided.

• Installation, commissioning, and servicing of woodworking and panel processing machinery
• Setup and calibration of panel saws, edge banders, CNC routers, and associated equipment
• Provide customer support both on‑site and remotely
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and CNC‑related issues
• Offer training and technical guidance to customers
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Travel to customer sites as required

• Multi‑skilled engineering background (mechanical/electrical)
• Knowledge of panel processing machinery (panel saws, edge banders, CNC routers, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing, woodworking, or joinery industries
• CAD/CAM experience beneficial, but not essential
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and technical aptitude
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills
• Full UK driving licence
