Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established construction materials supplier to recruit a Joinery Surveyor.

This is a great opportunity to join a busy and reputable business specialising in bespoke joinery, including staircase design and manufacture. You will play a key role in surveying, designing, and pricing a variety of joinery products, working closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery.

The position would suit someone with a strong joinery background looking to move into a more technical and customer-facing role.

• Carry out site surveys for bespoke joinery items, including staircases and other products
• Produce designs in line with customer specifications using CAD/CAM systems
• Prepare accurate quotations and costings for joinery works
• Generate work orders for manufacturing and production teams
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Provide excellent customer service and manage enquiries
• Use internal systems to manage orders, deliveries, and invoicing
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards both on-site and in the workshop

• Strong background in joinery, ideally within manufacturing or construction
• Experience interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• IT proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

• Experience working for a joinery manufacturer
• Knowledge of CAD design software
• Experience using costing or estimating systems
• Background as a bench joiner or production operative using machinery
