Process Operator - MF​/VCP

We have an opportunity for a Process Operator to join our Melt Filtration and Compounding teams on a fixed term basis for 18 months based at our Hillhouse site in Thornton-Cleveleys, Lancashire.

• Operate manufacturing processes to the required quality and safety standards and adhere to operating procedures.
• Deliver to agreed production plans.
• Carry out plant maintenance tasks to support efficient production.
• Maintain plant housekeeping standards to ensure safe and efficient working practices.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities within the scope of the role and support wider activities to enable business efficiency.

• Experience working in a manufacturing/hazardous environment where safety is a priority.
• Experience working in a busy team, delivering to plan and adhering to strict processes and procedures.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot within the remit of the Process Operator role.
• Physical capability to lift, climb stairs and work in confined spaces; 24/7 shift working.
• Eligible for Shift Disturbance Allowance (SDA).

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at minimum of Grade C/4, or equivalent.
