Volunteer Drivers Mate

Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity? Do you enjoy getting out and about and meeting new people? This role involves helping our drivers in organising and collecting all furniture or large item donations whilst providing strong customer service to all donators. You will help to actively promote Gift Aid signups and also keep accurate records of collections/deliveries.

So whether you’re looking to make new friends a couple of hours a week or improve your CV we can provide all the support you need.

Please note - This is a volunteer role.

Salvation Army Trading Company Ltd is the trading arm of The Salvation Army in the UK and Republic of Ireland. We were established in 1991 to help fund The Salvation Army’s vital work with vulnerable people in the UK and today we raise money and encourage reuse and recycling through over 250 charity shops and donation centres and a nationwide network of over 8000 clothing banks.

We are at the forefront of textile reuse and recycling and we work closely with our key partners including some of the biggest retail and online brands. Our work extends to different markets through other divisions supporting our parent church and charity and music interests in the UK and internationally. With the support of the British public we have raised over 100 million over the past 12 years to help the work of The Salvation Army.
