• Work as a registered nurse within a ward team in the Integrated Medicine and Patient Flow Division.
• Prioritise and deliver nursing care and assessment as needed.
• Demonstrate high standards of care and set examples of best practice in patient care delivery.
• Liaise with other departments and staff to ensure patient care is delivered.
• Ensure patients’ safety, privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
• Support the nurse in charge of the ward and liaise with other departments to ensure that the unit’s needs are met.
• Follow appropriate development to assist in taking charge duties of the unit and oversee patient admissions, transfers and the care delivered by other staff.
• Undertake such duties as are determined by the Unit Manager and/or Head Nurse from time to time.

• Ability to teach peers within the clinical area.
• Evidence of continuous professional development.
• Experience of team and ward management.

• Registered Nurse (1st or 2nd Level).

£32,073 to £39,043 per annum pro rata.
