The Opportunity

We are supporting a search on behalf of a well-established organisation operating within a UKAS-accredited technical environment.

This is a key appointment, responsible for leading the Quality Management System, maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
Manage UKAS accreditation and external assessments.
Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
Lead internal audits, CAPA and non-conformance investigations.
Maintain quality documentation and governance.
Partner with technical and operational teams to promote quality and continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

We're interested in experienced quality professionals from UKAS-accredited laboratory, testing, inspection or calibration environments.

Typical backgrounds include:

Quality Manager
Technical Manager
Laboratory Manager
Laboratory Quality Manager
Quality Systems Manager
Quality Assurance Manager
Experience with in a UKAS-accredited environment.
Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.
Experience managing UKAS audits and assessments.
Ownership of Quality Management Systems.
Internal auditing, CAPA and continuous improvement.

Industry Backgrounds

Engineering Testing, Materials Testing, Construction Materials, Infrastructure, Geotechnical, Environmental Testing, Calibration, Inspection & Certification or other regulated technical environments.
