We’re looking for a new Technician to join our friendly team in the newly‑formed Centre for Sustainable Soils at Lancaster Environment Centre to work on a prestigious Royal Society Faraday Discovery Fellowship, led by Prof Katie Field at Sheffield, investigating the diversity and functioning of root‑associated fungal networks in grassland.

• Support a Senior Research Associate to deliver research objectives.
• Help establish and maintain experiments in lab, greenhouse and field.
• Assist with sampling soils and vegetation, including working with collaborators at Sheffield University and the Natural History Museum, London.
• Analyse soils and plants for a range of properties.
