Lancaster University’s School of Physics and Astronomy seeks up to three Senior Research Associate(s) in supernova environments. The successful candidates will work with Prof Isobel Hook on the ERC Advanced Grant project “Sparkles” to use observations of Type Ia supernovae and their host galaxies to improve cosmological parameter measurements.
The position focuses on high‑resolution imaging from the Euclid Mission, with data from LSST, 4
MOST and potentially NASA’s Roman Space Telescope.
