Job Description

Salary £12.60 per hour. Permanent, variable hours. Part time, 7.5 hours per week. Term time at Chaucer Primary School, within Lancashire County Council catering services.

We provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day. We are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

• Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up of furniture and putting away.
• Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
• Clean all equipment and catering areas.

• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
• Good customer care skills.
• Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential.

• Monday to Friday only, 12:30 – 13:30 approximately – 5 hours per week, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.
• Term time only.
