As an Agricultural Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding their different needs and promoting our extensive range of agricultural machinery and equipment. You’ll be part of a proud John Deere dealership, representing one of the most respected brands in the industry, recognised worldwide for quality, reliability, and innovation. You’ll provide trusted and tailored solutions to help customers improve productivity and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across your sales area
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and follow up leads
- Promote and sell agricultural machinery and equipment
- Provide product demonstrations and expert advice to customers
- Prepare and present quotations, negotiate terms, and close sales
- Work closely with the wider sales, service, and parts teams to ensure excellent customer support
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Represent Cornthwaite Group at shows, open days, and industry events
- Previous sales experience within agriculture, machinery, or a related sector (experience with John Deere products is highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of farming practices and agricultural equipment (or a willingness to learn quickly)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own sales area
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- A positive, driven attitude with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
