As an IPS Employment Specialist within Calico Enterprises’ Employability & Skills team, you will work closely with individuals with drug and alcohol support needs offering Individual Placement and Support (IPS) as part of a holistic recovery plan for people in structured treatment supporting them with various needs to gain sustainable paid employment.

These needs vary from assisting individuals in decided what is the most suitable career path for them, supporting them with training needs to achieve this career, CV writing, confidence building, dedicated job searching, focused face to face employer engagement, interview preparation, in-work support and much more!

• Provide Individual Placement and Support (IPS) as part of a holistic recovery plan for individuals in structured treatment to help them gain sustainable paid employment.
• Assist individuals in deciding the most suitable career path and support them with training needs to achieve this career.
• Support CV writing, confidence building, dedicated job searching, and focused face-to-face employer engagement.
• Prepare individuals for interviews and provide in-work support as needed.
• Collaborate with the Employability & Skills team and other stakeholders to enable successful employment outcomes.
• Address a range of needs related to recovery and employability as part of a holistic approach.
