Position: Domestic Abuse Young People’s Support Worker (Trans+)

Salary: £27,269 – £29,572 per annum (depending on experience).
Contract: Fixed-term, 4 years.

This specialist role focuses on Trans+ young adults aged 18–25
, many of whom face family rejection, isolation and multiple barriers to safety. You will deliver one-to-one and group support, advocacy, safeguarding, and work across the North West to increase access to inclusive services.

You will
  • Deliver trauma-informed, victim-led, gender-affirming support.
  • Work with Trans+ people experiencing domestic abuse and exploitation.
  • Carry a caseload and maintain accurate, confidential records.
  • Manage safeguarding and risk, including high-risk situations.
  • Advocate for survivors with housing, health, legal and statutory services.
  • Work collaboratively with LGBTQ+, domestic abuse and statutory partners.
  • Champion intersectional, anti-oppressive and trans-inclusive practice.
