About

The Role
  • Manage the full end‑to‑end EHCP process from assessment and plan writing through reviews, amendments, and reassessments.
  • Co‑produce high‑quality, person‑centred plans with children, families and partner agencies, ensuring they are clear, compliant and outcome‑focused.
  • Work closely with SENCOs, education, health and care professionals to monitor provision, respond to emerging needs and maintain statutory timescales.
  • Attend reviews, contribute to panels and dispute resolution processes, and support informed, collaborative decision‑making.
  • Maintain accurate digital records, use monitoring systems to track provision and contribute to service improvement activity aligned with the SEND Improvement Plan.
  • Champion inclusive practice and ensure children and young people are supported to prepare for adulthood and achieve their potential.
About You
  • Experience working with children, young people, families or the public, ideally within a SEND or multi‑agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation, safeguarding and the EHCP process, or capability and commitment to apply this knowledge confidently in practice.
  • Strong communication skills, building trust with families and professionals while navigating complex information and differing perspectives.
  • Organised, reflective and able to manage a diverse caseload while meeting statutory deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Comfortable producing clear, structured written documentation and using digital systems to support case management and service planning.
  • Committed to inclusive, person‑centred practice and continuous improvement.
  • Hold a relevant qualification or equivalent experience, along with GCSE grade 5 (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Essential car user post: must be able to provide a vehicle insured for business use.
