Overview

Community Social Work Social Worker - Social Care Qualified (Contract). This is a temporary 2-week contract to support service users with complex mental health needs. • Supporting service users with complex mental health needs
• Conducting access and assessment procedures
• Managing keyworker responsibilities for assigned clients
• Investigating safeguarding concerns to ensure client safety
• Completing Care Act assessments and social circumstances reports
• Maintaining detailed case records and documenting casework accurately
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective support

• Qualified Social Worker status with relevant social care experience
• Proven experience in mental health social work
• Strong assessment and keyworker skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and Care Act assessments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Investigating safeguarding concerns thoroughly and professionally
• Developing tailored support plans for service users
• Ensuring timely completion of assessments and reports
• Liaising with external agencies to coordinate care
• Upholding service users’ rights and promoting well-being
• Adhering to all compliance and regulatory requirements
