Location:
Covering Westmorland & Furness
Working pattern:
Full time, flexible and hybrid working opportunities
No advocacy experience? No problem. If you're thinking about a career change, don't be put off if you haven't worked in advocacy before — full training and support will be provided.
You'll receive specialist training and support to achieve the City & Guilds Level 4 Independent Advocacy Practice Qualification, a nationally recognised professional accreditation.
Role Overview
Could you help someone find their voice when it matters most? As a Multi-Specialist Advocate, you'll support vulnerable adults to understand their rights, express their wishes and have their views heard when decisions are being made about their health, care and future.
Working across community settings and inpatient mental health wards, you'll deliver advocacy services, helping people navigate complex situations and ensuring their voice remains at the centre of decision-making.
What You'll Be Doing
The role includes supporting people through services such as IMCA, IMHA, and Care Act Advocacy.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for people who can build trusting relationships and want a rewarding career where they can make a genuine difference to people's lives. Experience in health, social care, housing, mental health, support work, customer service, or the voluntary sector is welcomed, but not essential.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

* A nationally recognised professional qualification
* Flexible and hybrid working opportunities where possible
* Ongoing learning and development
* Regular supervision and peer support
* Wellbeing and work-life balance support
