Software Engineer

Location: Manchester City Centre (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

We're working with an established digital technology business looking to add a Software Engineer (Web Platform) to their growing engineering team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on modern, cloud-hosted web platforms, building scalable applications used by a range of well-known clients. You'll work across backend services, APIs and cloud infrastructure, while also having the opportunity to contribute to frontend development where appropriate.

Working within a collaborative product team, you'll be involved throughout the software development lifecycle, helping to deliver secure, high-performing and maintainable applications using modern engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using C#/.NET and Type Script .
• Build and enhance REST APIs, backend services and third-party integrations.
• Contribute to cloud-based applications hosted within Microsoft Azure

• Work alongside engineers, designers and product teams to deliver new features.
• Help improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD and code reviews.
• Support scalable, secure and performant application architecture.
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.

You’ll have commercial experience developing modern web applications and be comfortable working across backend services and cloud technologies.

Experience with both C#/.NET and Type Script would be ideal, although stronger expertise in one alongside exposure to the other will also be considered.

You’ll enjoy working collaboratively, have a passion for clean, maintainable code, and be keen to continue developing your technical skills within a supportive engineering environment.
