Full Time Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm

Direct Accident was formed in 1996 to assist clients who had been involved in road traffic accidents caused by another party. In that time, we have helped thousands of clients by taking away the worry and inconvenience that inevitably result from an accident caused by somebody else.

We are currently recruiting for an EDGE Fleet Coordinator to our growing team who will be responsible for the maintenance and management of our fleet. An important part of this role is to build good strong professional working relationships with different Local Authorities / Councils throughout the UK.

We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic and enthusiastic, a problem solver and someone who can work as part of a team and using their own initiative. You will be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to your stake holders and ensure that everyone has a positive experience by delivering outstanding service.

Responsibilities to include:
  • Managing all aspects of 25+ drivers availability and driver cover for seven day rotas.
  • Process Drivers daily and Monthly Timesheets
  • Scheduling all movements as arranged by the hire hub.
  • Update and run Optimo route/my mobile worker
  • Control drivers sign in / sign out for runner vehicles
  • Prepare and update workbooks
  • Providing phone support for drivers whilst they are on the road.
  • Ensuring all drivers are wearing correct uniform
  • Assist the Hub with incoming calls
  • Assist with client and staff vehicle issues
  • Book cars and vans into workshop/bodyshop
  • Raising POs for cars and vans
  • Quality control vehicles coming back from bodyshops
About You:
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK Drivers License
  • Age 25 or over (for insurance purposes)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work using one's own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to work under pressure
