HGV Drivers

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Preston area. We are looking for HGV Drivers to join the team.

Roles Available:

* HGV Class 1

* HGV Class 2

Shift

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Start Time: 10:00am start

Pay Rate: £15.36 per hour PAYE

Location:

Preston, PR2

Job Type: Ongoing

The role:

* Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels.

* 15-25 bulk deliveries and collections on return

* Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

* Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the roll cages from the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

* Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (Cat C/C&E).

* 6 months experience required

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
