Global Travel Collection Travel Specialist

Global Travel Collection (GTC), part of Internova Travel Group, is the most influential collection of international luxury travel advisors. Responsibilities

The individual in this role will provide best-in-class travel consulting services for corporate and entertainment clients, including high-profile travelers and touring professionals. This role supports an established independent advisor who has a high-volume, fast-paced business and will be working closely with Artist management teams.

The Specialist will be responsible for supporting core functions including tour pitching, hotel contracting, advancing, building spreadsheets, data entry, and commission tracking. Successful candidates must have expertise in Sabre, offer exceptional client service, and have the ability to manage complex, high-touch itineraries.

  • Email, download, and compile hotel information, proposals, offers, Tour spreadsheets, and client records.
  • Prepare commission reports, memos, rooming lists, contracts, riders, spreadsheets and other documents as needed.
  • Book and manage domestic and international air, hotel, car rental, and ground transportation using Sabre GDS
  • Issue, exchange, void, and refund tickets and MCOs as needed
  • Create accurate invoices using Sabre and Agent Portal systems
  • Provide travel consulting services through phone, email, and chat with professionalism and attention to detail
  • Build strong relationships and act as a trusted travel advisor for both new and long-term clients
  • Research destinations, fares, routing, hotels, and logistical details to meet specific client goals
  • Promote preferred vendors, insurance offerings, and value-added services
  • Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality, proactively correct errors
  • Troubleshoot issues, research, and propose solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience and working collaboratively with team and clients.
  • Maintain and update client profiles and preferences in CRM database
  • Manage deposits, final payments, and required travel documents
  • Stay up to date on global travel advisories, industry trends, and destination updates
  • Support GTC's preferred supplier and amenity programs
Work schedule
  • Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8:45 PM EST and 12 AM to 8:45 AM EST
  • For initial training purposes, the daily work schedule will be 12 PM to 8:45 PM EST for both IC Assistants.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma / GED required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of travel experience with a focus on corporate and entertainment clients
  • Sabre GDS proficiency (Edifact Preferred with knowledge of Graphical and NDC formats); ticketing, exchanges, and pricing expertise required
  • Solid understanding of domestic and international routing, faring, and travel regulations
  • Strong understanding in how to read airline contracts for discounts and commissions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Must be organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic CRM tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Proven ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Meetings and Events experience is a plus.
