SUMMARY
Project Engineer’s responsibilities include ensuring the comfort, safety, and reliability of electric buses, and promoting overall system performance optimization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Electric Bus Layout Planning:
Develop and execute the layout plan to enhance interior space and passenger capacity. - Design Evaluation:
Conduct evaluations of layout designs, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing the best passenger experience. - Safety and Reliability:
Assess safety and reliability, ensuring the layout design meets safety standards and includes emergency evacuation routes. - Vehicle Wiring:
Responsible for electrical and communication wiring within the electric bus, ensuring reliability and efficiency. - Integration of Onboard Equipment:
Coordinate integration of various onboard equipment such as propulsion, entertainment, air conditioning. - System Optimization:
Collaborate to optimize overall system performance, including energy management and aerodynamics, to improve efficiency and range. - Supplier Management:
Work with suppliers to ensure supply and delivery of components and technical communication. - Technical Support:
Provide technical support to team members and troubleshoot problems on‑site.
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
PREFERREDFluency in Mandarin.
WORK ENVIRONMENTTypical noise level is loud; required to work near moving mechanical parts; occasional work at high precarious places.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe employee is required to sit, use hands, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift up to 50 pounds. Vision required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus.
TRAVEL10% or less.
PAY RANGE$70,000–$90,000.
