Engineerperformsfieldsurveysandcollectsdatatosupportfiber opticandtelecommunicationsengineeringprojects.

Thisroledocumentsexistingaerialandundergroundutilityconditions,validates routes,captures measurements,andensuresallinformationrequiredforaccuratedesignandpermittingiscollected.

• Performfieldwalkstodocumentpoles,underground(UG) paths,utilities,right-of-way(ROW) boundaries,andsiteconditions.
• Capturerequiredphotos,includingpoletags,pole heights,cable labels,MPOE,handholes,anchors,clearances,and obstructions.
• Measure spans,attachment heights,mid-span clearances,andaccuratelyrecordGPScoordinates.
• TakedetailedfieldnotesfollowingOSPDesign
  
  Principlesandmaintainaccurateroutedocumentation.
• Convertfieldnotesinto Google Earth /KMZformat(preferred).
• Identifyconstructabilityissues,easements,utility conflicts,andpermittingrequirements.
• Uploadandmanagefielddatausingplatformssuchas Katapult Proor IQGEO.
• Communicatefieldfindingswith Project Managers ,Engineering teams,andotherstakeholders.

• ExperienceinOSPfielding,telecommunications construction,orutilitysurveyingpreferred.
• AT&Texperienceispreferred(IFP,ASE,andGPONexposureisaplus).
• Knowledge of Google Earthwiththeabilitytocreateoredit KMZ/KMLfilesisaplus.
• UnderstandingofFTTxandAT&TGPONdesignisanadvantage.
• Mustbelegallyauthorizedtoworkinthe United States .
• Abilitytoworkoutdoorsinvariousweatherconditionsandperformphysicallydemandingfieldtasks.
• Valid driver'slicenseandreliabletransportation.

• Flexibletotravelforshortbusinesstripsandoccasionalweekendwork(rare).
• Abilitytomanagetimelinesefficientlywhilehandlingmultipleprojectssimultaneously.
• Highlyorganizedwiththeabilitytotrackdeadlines,deliverables,andprojectexpectations.

• Fieldsurveyingandmeasurementaccuracy.
• Photodocumentation.
• MapandGISreading.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Timemanagementandorganizationalskills.
• Knowledgeofaerialandundergroundtelecommunicationsinfrastructure(preferred).
