Overview
- The Financial Services group advises financial services firms, asset managers, and investment funds, representing clients from small start-up operations to some of the world’s largest financial institutions.
- The practice advises clients on a wide range of fund structures and regulatory matters, including cross-border registration, regulatory examinations and enforcement, broker‑dealer matters, commodities and derivatives regulation, and issues involving blockchain and digital assets.
- The group's practice is among the largest in the industry, with 50 years of innovation in the asset management space.
- The role requires a strong understanding of commodities laws, specifically the Commodities Exchange Act and Commodity Futures Trading Commission regulations.
- Candidates should have experience with matters impacting commodities and derivative market participants and infrastructure providers.
- Digital assets and/or fintech experience is a plus for this role.
- Large law firm or regulatory agency experience is preferred.
