Full Time Contract Assignment for Experienced Cardiovascular Technicians

We are actively hiring an experienced Travel Cath Lab Tech for a full time contract assignment in Lancaster CA. The Travel Cath Lab Tech will support a busy hospital Cath Lab environment that performs a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. About the Role

The Travel Cath Lab Tech will work closely with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary cardiovascular team to support patient preparation, case flow, and safe execution of diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of Cath Lab operations, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile technique, fluoroscopy equipment use, and effective clinical communication. Applicants should be comfortable working in a high acuity unit with rapid case turnover and diverse patient needs.

Location and Schedule

This assignment is located in Lancaster CA.

Schedule includes:

• Day shift
• 40 hours per week
• Weekend and holiday availability required
• Consistent weekly scheduling with potential for extension upon successful performance

Compensation

• Weekly gross earnings range from $1,316.24 to $1,410.26
• Blended taxable and non taxable components for travelers
• Taxable hourly plus housing stipend
• OT pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate
• Weekly direct deposit
• Travelers may access housing support options where applicable

To qualify for this Travel Cath Lab Tech assignment, candidates must meet the following:

• ARRT or RCIS preferred
• Minimum two years experience in a Cath Lab or diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular lab
• Minimum one year travel assignment experience
• Proficiency with Cath Lab procedures, fluoroscopy equipment, hemodynamics, and interventional cardiology support
• Strong clinical communication and ability to function in a high acuity cardiovascular environment
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Eligible to work in the United States

Education Requirements

• High school diploma with completion of an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program

Skills and Competencies

• Competency with cardiovascular imaging equipment and fluoroscopy
• Accurate hemodynamic monitoring and waveform interpretation
• Strong procedural support skills for interventional cardiology cases
• Ability to maintain sterile technique during all procedures
• Clear documentation and adherence to safety protocols
• Strong teamwork in a collaborative cardiovascular unit
