Overview
Job Title: Surgical Technician - Operating Room
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033
Duration: 8 weeks to long term
Shift hours: 12 hours shift
Responsibilities- Responsible in preparing the operating room, sets up sterile files with instruments, anticipates surgeon needs during complex cases, passes tools, handles specimens, performs counts, assists with patient care (pre/post-op), and maintains strict sterility, requiring high adaptability for diverse, critical surgeries and potentially faster turnovers cases.
- Highly skilled Surgical Technician (ST) with a minimum of two (2) years of in-patient operating room experience in a Level I Trauma Center as a ST.
- Surgical Technician Certification
- BLS Certification by AHA
- MAB or CPI Certification
- LA City Fire and Life Safety card (must be LA City)
- Proof of full COVID and seasonal Flu Vaccinations.
