Therapist; ACSW​/AMFT​/APCC​/LMFT​/LCSW​/LPCC

Position Overview

Dimondale Adolescent Care Facility is hiring a full-time, on-site Therapist to provide clinical services to youth ages 12–18 in a Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP). This position carries a caseload of six youth and requires availability for crisis situations.

Starting salary: $70,000 (negotiable based on experience and licensure).

This is an in-person role. All clients are also housed on-site.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and create treatment plans
• Offer crisis intervention
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and case management teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with DMH and agency standards
• Participate in agency meetings and ongoing clinical supervision
• Complete resident psychosocial assessments and provide diagnoses
• Formulate treatment plans that promote development and maintenance of individual goals designed to facilitate individual growth, improved social interaction, the ability to manage mental illness, and living independently
• Be available for crises and provide crisis intervention as needed

• Registered or licensed with BBS (ACSW, AMFT, LMFT, LCSW, Psy.
  
  D with waiver, or Licensed Psychologist)
• Master’s degree in a mental health field
• Experience with adolescents and mental health treatment
• Experience utilizing Exym is a bonus
• Ability to work full-time and participate in on-call crises rotation
• Demonstrate ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrate effective communication skills, adaptability, dependability, and initiative in carrying out responsibilities
• Must be 21+ years old
• Must possess a valid California driver’s license and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle and be insurable by Dimondale's insurance carrier
• Must pass Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and Child Abuse Index Check (CAIC) background clearance
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Must complete Pro‑ACT certification within 30 days of hire

• Experience working with at-risk youth or in a similar social service setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with HIPAA and DMH compliance
• Ability to manage a caseload of 6 youth effectively
• Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
