Job Description

Responsibilities include stocking, processing orders, inventory management, cleaning, delivery, and promotional tasks for a pizza shop.

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car to the door of the customer, delivering flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must pass a background check and have open availability.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
• Ability to train and lead.

• Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; calculator may be used.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
• Maintain cost controls.
• Navigate by reading a map and locating addresses within the delivery area, including adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings and private homes.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in a cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas; sudden temperature changes may occur.
• Fumes from food odors; exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Working in cramped quarters, including a walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces or tools up to 500°F or higher; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Standing, walking, carrying, lifting, pushing, climbing, and bending tasks throughout the shift.
