Overview
Spingarage LLC has developed an industry-first online quoting and ordering system for aerospace-grade and low-volume production wiring harnesses. In this role, we’re looking for an Engineering Technician to focus on hardware-level process improvements as well as ensuring the production floor has exceptional digital work definition. You will play a key role in the organization, and you’ll contribute from day one.
Base pay range$58,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities- Work across all company levels to improve the process behind the world’s best aerospace wire harness factory
- Identify, implement, and access solutions to increase production efficiency in the hardware space
- Deliver production-ready digital work definition to the production floor
- Propose solutions for any difficult or hard-to-solve problems
- Track production flow in Spingarage proprietary software suite
- Participate in Kaizen, Root Cause, and other process improvement events
- Partner across the company to continually improve efficiency, quality, and satisfaction of both customer and team
- Ability to discretize difficult problems into a multi-step solution process
- Experience in a rate-based production system
- Familiarity with common aerospace connector families such as MIL-DTL-38999, Mighty Mouse, MIL-DTL 26482, D-Sub, and MDM Connectors at the part number and specification level
- Familiarity with common aerospace wire types such as M27500 and M22759, at part and specification level
- Familiar with a software-based tracking system such as JIRA, GIT, or confluence
- Ability to creatively design a solution and follow through to implementation in at least one relevant medium, such as Dev Ops, CAD, 3d printing, or fabrication
- 1+ year experience in a relevant field
