Responsibilities- Process Material Review Board (MRB) cases and Material Requisition s (MR), verify inventory availability, initiate purchase requests, track deliveries, and ensure uninterrupted material flow to production line.
- Verify production order matches engineering purchase BOM release.
- Periodically validate inventory (critical and low stock). Randomly check critical items.
- Release purchase requests for new projects, troubleshoot data issues, and ensure PR/PO quantities cover the full requirement.
- Check weekly China report against project production orders for material status.
- Coordinate with procurement (US & China) for BOM material delivery status and ETA.
- Add/update materials in project work order if BOM changes.
- Compile incoming material analysis from various sources for planning and reporting.
- Submit material audit reports to supply chain manager and cost accounting within one week after each batch moves to next station.
- Follow up with engineer, planning, MC, and warehouse to close discrepancies and production order issues.
- Provide summary and report on auditing issues, suggest solutions for continuous improvements.
- Audit warehouse inventory monthly (5% of total SKUs) and report results by last Friday of each month.
- Maintain BOM new SAP plant, purchasing, accounting, and MRP views; finished and semi‑finished goods; ECN/MR/MRB/Rework views; and material summary sheet.
- Assist team members as backup when manpower shortage.
- Provide training for material auditing and maintenance for new employees.
- Highly detail‑oriented.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Highly analytical.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work across departmental lines.
- Self‑starter.
- Excellent organization and planning skills.
- Effective computer skills (MS Office, SAP).
- Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ experience in Planning/Material Management/Supply Chain.
- Associate degree + 3 years’ experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Planning, Material Management.
- Professional certification + 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Planning/Material Management.
$68,400- $70,000
