PrimaryResponsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this CCU RN contract include providing direct patient care, performing assessments, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, communicating with interdisciplinary teams and supporting critical care workflows. The Float Pool structure allows you to experience diverse patient populations while maintaining consistency in schedule and assignment expectations.
Location and ScheduleThis CCU RN Float Pool job is located in Lancaster California in a fast paced acute care environment. The schedule is night shift 7 pm to 7 am. Contract options include either 3x12 or 4x12 schedules with guaranteed weekly hours. The assignment length is 13 weeks with the potential for extension based on unit needs and performance.

Requirements- Active California Registered Nurse license
- Minimum two years of recent acute care RN experience
- At least one year of travel nurse experience
- Clinical experience in CCU PCU and MS Tele
- Valid BLS, ACLS and NIHSS certifications
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Strong communication skills, adaptability and confidence working in high acuity areas
