All About On Demand:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule to ensure you are properly prepared for your new role. After that, the myTime app is where you can pick up shifts you desire to work.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the check lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Be aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment as needed; be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate, and use them.
• Understand and demonstrate how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App.
• Assist with returns following register prompts and escalate to leadership as needed while following Target policies.
• Partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience when necessary.
• Deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work in a safe manner and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up orders and returns; comply with applicable laws.
• Other duties as needed per business needs.

• You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members.
• You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment with teamwork and flexible problem solving.
• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays).
• Strong communication, positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology; work both independently and with a team.
• Ability to handle cash operations and support cash office duties as needed.
