Duties- Assist with store functions and day‑to‑day store activities
- Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have
- Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, and Key Survey requests
- Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays
- Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged returns, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts)
- Maintain well‑stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
- Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
- Enforce safety guidelines and ensure all associates follow company policies
- Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
- Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting professionally with customers, associates, and leaders
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors, and ensure all areas are neat and presentable
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; strong reading, interpretation, and explanation of operational directives required
- Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required
- Ability to work in a high‑energy team environment required
- Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills required
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required
