• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

To assist in the proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department, and assist customers on the store floor as needed. The Utilities Clerk will bag groceries, carry out groceries for customers upon request, and perform store maintenance to keep the store clean and safe at all times. Responsibilities include maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go-backs, assisting with checkout upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area.
