Pay
Base pay range: $21.65/hr - $34.50/hr starting pay rate: $21.65-$34.50/hour.
Location:
Lancaster, CA.
- Take client calls and communicate issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisors or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
- Monitor radio, telephones, and on‑road provision of service for quality.
- Influence positive employee morale and quality customer service.
- Monitor and complete driver sign‑in and sign‑out daily.
- Assign trips to drivers to assure adequate disbursement of trips between all assigned routes.
- Monitor daily system performance.
- Participate in analysis and review of operating performance.
- Note closed and/or late starting of routes and communicate same to Dispatch Supervisors and/or Dispatch Managers as appropriate.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must hold a current Commercial Driver License (CDL) and have bus experience.
- One (1) year previous Dispatcher experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of Customer Service experience is preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Transtrack software.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast‑pace environment.
- Demonstrate a high customer service commitment.
- Able to demonstrate professional phone manner.
- Knowledge of the service area is a plus.
