Pain Management Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician to provide office-based pain management services to adult patients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions using a multimodal approach.

• Conduct comprehensive pain evaluations for new and established patients.
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, interventional procedures, and patient education.
• Provide counseling on pain management strategies and certify eligible patients for medical cannabis use.
• Monitor medication compliance through Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP) and urine drug screening.

• Perform trigger point injections, joint injections, and occipital nerve blocks.

• Administer epidural steroid injections, facet blocks, sacroiliac (SI) joint injections, intercostal blocks, and radio frequency ablations (including cold ablation).
• Utilize ultrasound guidance for precise injection techniques.

• Maintain thorough and accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in pain management treatments and technologies.

• Graduate from an accredited Medical College with a Medical Degree
• Successful completion of an approved residency by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, the American Osteopathic Association, or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Fellowship trained in Pain Management
• Board certified by WMC Medical Staff Bylaws.
• ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association required.
