The Multi‑Modality Radiology Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in various modalities, including X‑ray, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound. The technician will ensure high‑quality patient care and imaging results while adhering to established protocols and safety standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different imaging technologies.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSEducation:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field from an accredited program.
Licensure:
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist New Hampshire.
- ARRT Certification in Radiography. Additional certifications in CT, MRI, and/or Ultrasound preferred.
- Association
* accredited course in Basic Life Support (BLS) (for clinical staff), or Heartsaver CPR AED (for nonclinical staff), and renewal on a regular basis, with up to a three‑month grace period after the expiration date.
Skills:
- Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and software.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical imaging environment.
- Experience in multiple imaging modalities preferred.
All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three‑day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. This orientation provides essential training, compliance information, and an introduction to our organizational culture to ensure a smooth and successful transition into your role. Attendance on all three days is required for onboarding completion.
Additionally, if Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
