Certified Surgical Technologist LocationNew Hampshire
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 5 days a week with 2-3 days on call.
Job DescriptionThe Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family-centered care in the operating room. The surgical tech will assist in various specialties including ortho, general surgery, podiatry, pain management, urology, and endoscopy. They will handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during surgical procedures, having a comprehensive understanding of the procedure being performed and anticipating the needs of the surgeon.
The tech will maintain the sterile field and support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment.
- Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and ensure a sterile field is maintained.
- Support various surgical specialties and procedures as needed.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA certification or TS-C (NCCT) certification.
- Recent or current experience in a hospital or medical center setting.
- Experience in general, ortho, podiatry, endoscopy, and urology is highly preferred.
- Surgical Tech skills checklist completed within the past year.
- Prior travel experience is highly preferred.
- BLS certification (AHA).
- New Hampshire Med Tech License will need to be applied for upon acceptance of an offer.
