Position: Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Nights, Full Time)

Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (Nights, Full Time)

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver individualized patient care at North Country Healthcare, a non‑profit network of four hospitals serving the White Mountains Region of New Hampshire. The RN will work nights as a full‑time staff member, collaborating with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and family to promote and restore patients' health.

Job Responsibilities
  • Cares for patients using the nursing process, incorporating assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute comprehensive care plans.
  • Provides physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
  • Supervises assigned team members and reports to the Nurse Manager and Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Participates in mandatory three‑day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH, and attends any required continuing education.
Essential Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current New Hampshire RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management abilities.
  • Clinical experience preferred.
Benefits
  • Travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy if Weeks Medical Center is not the designated home base.
