Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages individualized patient care by promoting and restoring health through the nursing process; collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; provides physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends; and supervises assigned team members. The RN reports to the Nurse Manager and ultimately the Chief Nursing Officer.

Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing school and current NH license.
  • BLS and ACLS certificates required; PALS preferred.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills.
  • 2+ years of prior RN ED experience required.
  • Current clinical experience preferred.

North Country Healthcare is a non‑profit affiliation of four medical facilities:
Androscoggin Valley Hospital, North Country Home Health & Hospice Agency, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital, and Weeks Medical Center. NCH delivers integrated patient care through three community hospitals, specialty clinics, and home health and hospice services.

Orientation

All new hires must attend a mandatory three‑day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. Attendance on all three days is required for onboarding completion.

Travel Reimbursement

If Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
