Videographer & Sound​/light Technician

Videographer/Sound-Light technician

• Facilitate recordings of all rehearsals and performances
• Edit video content for live streams, social media, and archival recordings of performances and rehearsals
• Program and design lights and sound for performances and rehearsals
• Maintain an organized video archive of all past and present company recordings
• Support with additional technical and administrative duties as necessary

Required

• Basic programming and designing for ETC/EOS lighting console
• Basic sound design using Q-Lab or equivalent program
• Basic understanding of audio-visual tech needs (sound system, camcorder, projector, etc)
• Ability to effectively and independently troubleshoot tech issues during rehearsals and performances
• Ability to work in an organized, self-directed, and detailed manner
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Comfortable working with both Mac and PC technology
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office

Preferred

• 1-2 years of experience working in a professional performing arts environment
• Basic proficiency with Adobe Premiere or equivalent program
• Experience with video recording and editing for archival/documentary and/or social media purposes
