Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Schedule covers Friday night through Sunday night

• Holiday coverage required including Christmas Eve

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations and assist physicians with invasive CT procedures

• Prepare completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist

• Perform appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver

• Analyze CT examinations for quality control purposes

• Operate all CT and related equipment as well as facility-based computer systems

• Administer oral and intravenous contrast media under the direction of a physician or per protocol

• Transport, move, and position patients in a safe and appropriate manner

• Assist physicians with special procedures involving the use of CT

• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA approved school required

• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in radiography and CT

• Must maintain licensure requirements with the state of Ohio

• Annual CPR certification or When Seconds Count certification required

• Minimum two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred
