Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Etch Line Operator

• Reports to production supervisor
• Operates the etching and water treatment equipment
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the equipment and work area
• Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of areas around loading, etching, water treatment, packing, tool storage etc.
• Responsible for the safety of team members working in the etching department
• Setup, trouble shoot and operate the etching line and water treatment equipment
• Gives work instructions and is responsible for the quality of the work performed by the production crew
• Must have sufficient bottles, chemicals and other components required for production
• Performance of the water treatment process
• Ensures that the waste water discharged meets the standards established
• Verify and calibrate probes
• Ensures good functioning of pumps, mixers controls etc.
• Prepare, adjust and add chemicals used to etch bottles and/or to treat the waste water
• Document setups, adjustments and controlling parameters or the equipment listed above
• Other duties as assigned or as needed
