Activity Assistant

Adult Day Services Director – Kelley Bauman, LSW

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday:
Part-time (between 8a-5p)

• Assist in creating and implementing planned, fulfilling activities for participants.
• Provide individual care and supervision for participants.
• Safely transport participants to and from the program, escorting them to and from vehicles, and providing support and supervision.

• Experience in personal care, activities, or social/recreational programs is preferred.
• Ability to understand written and oral instructions.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pass Criminal Background Check with no disqualifying offenses.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army standards.
• Obtain a medical statement from a licensed physician confirming no conditions impairing safe driving or participant support.
• Pass drug and alcohol screenings.
