CDL A & 1 Year Experience Required

Qualifications:

• Must be highly safety oriented
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test
• Must have current CDL class A and DOT medical card
• 1 Years experience
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• No major convictions (DWI, DUI, Hit and Run, Homicide or Assault, Suspension or Revocation, Reckless Driving) within the past 5 years.
• No more than four minor moving violations in the past 36 months. No more than two minor moving violations in the past 12 months.

Physical Demands:

• Required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk to hear
• Required to reach with hands, arms, climb, or balance
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain driver log, timecards, and required paperwork
• Must be DOT compliant at all times
• OSHA regulations

Equipment Maintenance:

• Inspect truck equipment and supplies (tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, water, fluids)
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Inspect material to ensure it has been loaded correctly and is secure
• Must be able to identify materials to ensure correct product is being hauled

• Show professionalism and approach others in a tactful manner
• React well under pressure
• Treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
• Accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments
