What You Will Do

The Plant Manager is accountable for all aspects of our Lancaster, TX plant performance, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery of quality products at target cost. The PM leads the development and execution of departmental strategies that achieve safety, revenue, operating profit, quality, and lean manufacturing objectives.

  • Oversee all elements of day‑to‑day plant operations to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) commitments.
  • Develop and deploy 1‑3 year plant strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Balance day‑to‑day execution with long‑term vision.
  • Collaborate with other plant leaders to benchmark and share best practices.
  • Implement plant policies, procedures and coordinate operations.
  • Drive operational excellence through Lean practices.
  • Maintain communication across departments.
  • Lead people management, motivation, and team‑building.
  • Increase production, capacity and flexibility while minimizing cost and maintaining quality.
  • Build capabilities and tools for cost‑competitive products.
  • Ensure financial compliance and controls.
  • Coach and motivate team members for career development.
  • Apply change‑management to engage the workforce.
What We Look For
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive plant operations experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Material Management, Quality, or Production Management.
  • 5+ years as a Plant Manager with successful KPI execution and team building.
  • 5+ years Lean Manufacturing experience, including Value Stream Mapping, kaizen, and Lean Daily Management systems.
  • Experience in high‑volume metal‑cutting and automated assembly; high attention to quality and reliability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the plumbing products industry.
  • Knowledge of business and planning systems (Oracle/JD Edwards, Blue Yonder).
  • Lean Manufacturing and TPM certification.
  • Experience in metal finishing.
  • Experience implementing safety, quality, or environmental management systems (ISO
    9001, ISO
    14001, Safe Start).
