Inside Sales Representative

Based within the Inside Sales Center (ISC) in Lancaster, TX, Tuff Shed is looking for an engaging, motivated Inside Sales Representative to help customers move confidently from initial inquiry to purchase.

In this role, you will connect with customers through multiple communication channels, learn what they need, recommend appropriate products and options, prepare quotes, explain financing solutions, and follow each opportunity through the sales process. You will play an important part in delivering a positive customer experience while achieving individual and team sales goals.

This role offers a hybrid work schedule option available after Training: 2 days remote / 3 days in office

• Engage professionally with customers and business partners through approved communication platforms.
• Conduct consultative sales conversations to understand customer needs, answer questions, address objections, and recommend appropriate products, services, options, and upgrades.
• Guide customer opportunities through the sales process, from initial inquiry through completed sale, customer quotation, or qualified lead.
• Prepare and revise customer quotes and present available financing options.
• Follow up consistently with customers using established sales processes and contact expectations.
• Accurately document customer activities and interactions in company systems and CRM platforms.
• Stay informed about company products, promotions, policies, procedures, and sales practices.
• Work toward established sales goals, activity expectations, KPIs, and customer experience objectives.
• Collaborate with internal departments, field teams, and business partners to support customers and achieve sales objectives.
• Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, training and professional development activities.

• Strong customer engagement and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to establish rapport, build trust, and develop customer relationships.
• Ability to identify customer needs and recommend effective solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple customer opportunities and follow-up activities simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally (English/Spanish bilingual skills is helpful but not required) and in writing.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet applications, and CRM systems.
• Ability to learn and utilize company technology, communication systems, and sales tools.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

• Experience in inside sales, retail sales, phone sales, virtual sales, internet sales, customer-facing sales, or similar customer engagement roles preferred
• Experience meeting sales goals, conversion objectives, or performance metrics preferred.
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems preferred.
• Experience working in a call center or customer service environment preferred

• High school diploma OR equivalent
