Description As an Accounts Senior/Semi‑Senior, you will support the accounts team in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and management accounts for a portfolio of clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic and supportive environment, allowing you to develop your skills and progress in the field of accountancy.

• Prepare and finalise statutory accounts and tax returns.
• Review and support trainees, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high‑quality outputs.
• Maintain strong client relationships, responding to queries with professionalism and a client‑first attitude.
• Organise your workload effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for managerial review.
• Ensure accurate logging of chargeable time and support effective fee recovery.

• AAT/ACA/ACCA qualified (or actively working towards qualification).
• Those ‘qualified by experience’ will also be considered.
• Proven practice experience – Audit experience is desirable but not essential.

• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and detail‑oriented, with excellent time management.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive, fast‑paced environment.
• Hybrid working considered.
• Experience with cloud‑based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) is an advantage.
• A passion for delivering high‑quality service to SME clients.
