ACA/ACCA qualified, with 3+ years’ UK practice audit experience

Due to the strategic expansion of our client’s audit department, they are looking for a technically strong and proactive Audit Senior.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the variety of working with owner-managed businesses and wants a role where they can take real ownership of assignments, from planning through to completion.

This is a hands-on role where you will be the lead on-site for a variety of audit engagements. There is flexibility to make this a pure audit role, or a mixed role including accounts and tax production.

• Leading audit assignments, completing fieldwork both remotely and on-site at client premises
• Taking ownership of assignments from planning through to completion
• Supporting more complex work, including group consolidations and statutory financial statement preparation
• Acting as a role model to junior staff, supporting on-the-job training and development
• Working closely with the Audit Manager and senior leadership team, with strong exposure and development opportunities

• ACA/ACCA qualified
• 3+ years’ experience in audit fieldwork within a small or medium-sized accountancy practice
• Solid working knowledge of UK GAAP
• Confident leading an audit on-site and working directly with business owners
• Able to travel to client premises, including occasional overnight stays where required
• Full UK driving licence

• Competitive salary from £35,000 (dependent on experience) plus performance-based bonus
